"I will lift up my eyes to you, to you whose throne is in heaven. Psalm 123 v1"

There are many aspects to the spiritual life at Eckling Grange, all of which are open to both all our bungalow and home residents.

Worship on Sunday AM and PM takes place in the Care Home Lounge and is supported by many local speakers from across all denominations. This gives a range of styles and influences which all add to the spiritual experience here at the Grange.

On a Tuesday morning we have a 'Thought for the Week' which brings together all of our family from around the complex.

Thursday evening there is a Bible study lead by both our Pastor and local lay speakers.

There are several prayer groups around the Grange on various days of the month, each with a different focus. Because we have a lot of retired missionaries around the complex, mission organisations remain a key part of our life.

Twice a month we have an Anglican Service of Holy Communion conducted by local clergy and once a month a local Baptist Minister also conducts a quiet, reflective time of communion.

The start to every day and meal times in the Care Home, begins with a thought for the day and or prayer.

Our Pastor, Ian Masson, is regularly on-site spending time visiting residents and together with his Ministry Support Team, ensures that the spiritual needs of residents and staff alike are met.
