Sheltered Housing and Domiciliary Care
The newest addition to the Eckling Grange Portfolio of Care is the creation and registration of a Domiciliary Care Agency.
The Care Agency is registered to work in any of our 55 sheltered accommodation bungalows.
The service we provide can be from as little as a 15 minute visit once a day, to multiple visits of a longer duration. During a visit by a member of staff
we can complete any number of tasks. These could include, assistance with dressing or getting up, supervision of medication, making sure a resident is safe
and secure and eating well, assisting with washing or bathing or arranging for shopping to be delivered.
There are many tasks that we can do that can improve the quality of life for the resident and ultimately assist them in remaining as
independent as possible, for as long as they wish to remain in a bungalow.

This service is available to all bungalow residents, remembering that to qualify for a bungalow you need to be able to live independently for
two to three years. These services are chargeable and can be customised to meet what ever the need. They are available for short or long term, seven days a week.
The Bungalows
The 55 bungalows mostly set in a large horseshoe arrangement, are situated to the rear of the Care Home, with delightful outlooks onto the lawn and trees. It is a truly peaceful place.

Each bungalow has its own small garden and an Aid Call alarm system connected to the Care Home to summon help in an emergency.
A limited number of garages are available, on a waiting list basis, for those with cars to pamper.
The bungalows are ideal for those who wish to maintain their independence, but in a safe environment and help at hand if needed.
