Eckling Grange was founded in 1960 as a residential home for retired missionaries and home workers.
These original aims have not altered but the residence is open to everyone. The day to day management rests with the General Manager and Care Manager and the Trustees of Eckling Grange meet with them every month.
At present there are 62 residential places, of which 20 are registered for EMI (Elderly Mentally Infirm) and an additional 55 bungalows suitable for individuals or couples seeking sheltered independence.
Around 120 elderly folk live at Eckling Grange, and every effort is made to foster a family spirit.
We consider every enquiry on an individual basis and welcome both privately and socially funded residents to our residential home and sheltered bungalows.
We employ Care, Catering, Laundry, Domestic, Maintenance and Administrative Staff to ensure the home meets it purpose.
We are recognised for our high quality of care delivered by our experienced staff. Like all care homes we are authorised by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with whom we have a good standing.
